(EL UNIVERSAL).- Esta mañana de sábado, llegó a México el primer lote de vacunas chinas para atender el Covid-19.
México ascendió, al corte de este 19 de febrero, a un total de 178 mil 965 muertes por Covid-19, según informaron autoridades de la Secretaría de Salud.
En las últimas 24 horas, México sumó 857 muertes por coronavirus.
Hasta el momento dos millones 30 mil 491 personas han recibido un diagnóstico positivo de Covid-19 en el país. Es decir, en las últimas 24 horas, México sumó 7 mil 829 nuevos contagios.
Vacunas china y rusa serán para adultos mayores
Ayer viernes, el subsecretario de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud, Hugo López-Gatell, informó que el primer lote de las vacunas chinas y rusas, que llegará al país entre el sábado y el lunes, será utilizado en el Valle de México, específicamente en adultos mayores que viven en municipios urbanos con alta mortalidad por Covid-19 y alta marginación.
El subsecretario indicó que la mañana de sábado llegarán las primeras 200 mil vacunas chinas Coronavac, elaboradas por la empresa Sinovac.
También se tiene previsto que el próximo 28 de febrero se reciban otras 800 mil dosis Coronavac y durante marzo, abril y mayo se recibirán 3 millones de vacunas cada mes para completar los 10 millones de biológicos que adquirió el gobierno federal.
Sobre la vacuna rusa Sputnik V, el subsecretario López Gatell dijo que llegarán al país el próximo lunes 22 de febrero a las 23:00 horas
