“Aguascalientes es un Estado privilegiado y aquí se generan cultivos ejemplares, tenemos 16 productos en los primeros lugares en el Ranking Nacional de Producción Agropecuaria, por ello en lo que va de la administración estatal, hemos apoyado a más de 17 mil productores con más de 220 millones de pesos a través de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural y Agroempresarial (SEDRAE); el campo tiene en mí a una aliada y vamos a seguir impulsándolo”, destacó la gobernadora Tere Jiménez Esquivel.
Lo anterior, en la reunión que sostuvieron la mandataria estatal y el secretario de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural (SADER) del Gobierno Federal, Víctor Manuel Villalobos Arámbula, quienes se reunieron para sumar esfuerzos en apoyo a las y los agricultores y ganaderos en el Estado.
Durante el encuentro, la gobernadora señaló que su administración impulsa con apoyos a productores con la finalidad de que sus productos lleguen cada vez a más mercados en el mundo, pues en Aguascalientes hay producción de calidad internacional en cultivos como la guayaba, uva, lechuga y espárrago y producción de carne de pollo, por mencionar algunos.
Añadió que en esta administración se ha dado prioridad a los productores que no habían recibido apoyos por parte de la SEDRAE, así como a las mujeres y jóvenes que están incursionando en el sector y, por supuesto, a todas aquellas personas que están comprometidas con el cuidado del agua, la reconversión productiva y la seguridad alimentaria.
Por su parte, Víctor Manuel Villalobos dijo que Aguascalientes cuenta con una fuerza importante en rubros como el lechero, avícola, agroindustrial y agrícola, por la capacidad de los agroproductores y las ventanas de producción y exportación.
“Vamos a trabajar de la mano con la gobernadora y la SEDRAE, seguiremos atendiendo las prioridades de los productores y sumaremos esfuerzos para beneficiar al campo, incrementando la productividad y los beneficios que tiene este importante sector”, mencionó.
Al hacer uso de la voz, el titular de la Sedrae, Isidoro Armendáriz, destacó la visión de la gobernadora de apoyar al campo y a los productores, pues ha sido un tema prioritario en su administración.
“Nuestro sector rural no se detiene y produce, porque sabe que son pilar fundamental de la vida social, de los alimentos y de la economía”, comentó.
Por último, dijo que la Federación apoyará al Estado en algunos programas, como la estimulación de nubes, que forma parte del Programa de Atención y Previsión de la Sequía y Uso Óptimo del Agua, así como los mecanismos de sanidad animal y vegetal.
